First of two T20 matches in the three-way tournament (also with Hampshire Hoggets) resulted in a thriller which Junior BB lost by a narrow margin. Batting first the Martlets posted a respectable total around several contributions with BB bowlers Ollie Mordaunt (2-22) and Arthur Butt (2-23) the pick of the bunch. In reply for BB, Harvey Park (29) and James Pollington (51) set up a platform for a successful chase. Needing 12 from the last over proved too much in the final analysis and, were it not for one strong over in the first innings from which Martlets profited 20 runs, it might have been a different outcome.
